Howard Kurtz suggests that television networks should post the amount of money politicians have accepted from various sources under their names during all televised events -- as started at the Enron hearings. This would carry the logic of hyperlinking to television, and would provide important information to viewers. Furthermore, I think it would make TV-viewing a little less passive, as viewers would have to figure out why certain facts were being posted about certain politicians. |
