From Rumors to Data: Why Vietnamese Sports Media Is Repeating the Vicious Cycle of Evidence-Starved Reporting

A Facebook fanpage recently speculated about a Vietnamese national team signing a European-based overseas Vietnamese player, without any documentary evidence, salary figure, or agent name. This recurring pattern highlights a key difference between Vietnamese sports media and mature markets like South Korea, where transfer claims are cross-checked against official registry data.
